This traditional 15ft double ender, adapted from a Norwegian sjekte design by Viking Boats, was launched in the spring. She’ll be used on Loch Torridon for sailing and rowing.

With two aboard she rows well, and with her ballast fitted will sail beautifully Steaming in the timbers for the 15ft sjekte. The heavy wooden floors give her added strength and support the slatted floorboards.
This little 8ft plywood tender has a detachable stern box so she will store on the foredeck of a 25ft Vertue. She is adapted from Classic Boat’s Tippy design by John Westell.
